My mom, Bo and their friends came back in town this weekend to celebrate my bday after their trip. We had the most incredible dinner at Gramercy Tavern. I have heard for weeks about this place, my boss thinks this is his favorite place to eat in all of NYC. This place had a huge reputation to live up to and actually surpassed all expectation. By far my favorite here this year! They have two dinner options-3 or 7 course, little goodies in between meals and amazing cocktails. The decor was simple, but classic. They had huge fall arrangements everywhere in contrast to the dark mahogany wood throughout. Plus, the service was unmatched, you never wanted for anything-menus, food, drink etc-they were constantly taking care of us. The perfect birthday dinner!!
Next we decided a show would be in order. The other couple, having never been to NYC (expect the week before) couldn't leave without seeing a Broadway show-right? So, we picked Jersey Boys, something from their era, they could relate to, possibly even enjoy! This show was the same as dinner-amazing reputation, even better in person. This is a show you cannot miss if you ever come here. You will literally be entertained for the entire 2 hours, singing along with the characters and learning a little pop culture or reminiscing about your early years!! What a lucky girl I am to be in this city!
