Life here

just wanted to show all of you what some of our patient's look like here. this lady is actually the mom of one of the ladies that works for my boss. she came in for a routine follow up looking like this. she told me her grandkids "blinged" her brace out for her! too funny. love my job

My birthday was this week, and I have to admit that I was really nervous about it and kind of sad. This would be my first away from friends and family...However, I am so blessed!! First, I opened my email when I woke to a Happy Bday message from Bryan at midnight. My friends here found out and had home made cinnamon rolls for conference with an announcement of my bday. My colleagues offered dinner dates as well as my boss. We ended up working late, so my boss took all of us out to a quick dinner together! My day was already filled with phone calls, facebook, and emails of happiness, but my dinner put me over. I was so happy inside. As one of my work buddies and I were walking home we were stopped at the desk with the pics to follow including cake and flowers from Bryan, cupcakes from Morgan and Jeff, edibles from Lissie and a 100% oklahoma care package to make me feel at home away from home from Becky. I literally had so much stuff, he had to help me carry it to my place! I cannot tell each of you guys thank you enough for all you did to make my day special! Know it could not have been more appreciated!!

Let's just say I had one of the best birthdays ever here in NYC!!

Latest Jackson update-Basically this kid is flourishing! He officially has one friend-Marley that he will play with, walk with and even let in our house and eat/share his own toys. Here's the two of them on a walk.
