I have an amazing brother, and for Christmas this year-he got me a walking tour of NYC. So thoughtful and quite fun/creative for a guy. So, while my mom was in town, we took advantage!

So chose to do the west village (of course!), but they have tours of several neighborhoods. Each tour is unique to that part of the city. Not only do you get a food tour (3hrs), but a history (400 yrs) tour as well. Our guide was very knowledgeable about all the intricacy that make the west village, the west village.
This is a must and by far my favorite on the whole trip. This cheese place is unreal, more to come.
Where our tour started cornelia street in west village. Named after an initial resident's daughter. One of the cutest, small streets here and packed with quaint little restaurants, including one that has less than 20 total seats.
Amy's Bread wasn't on this trip, but i got distracted by these cute valentine's day treats.

Olive and Co. is amazing. We tasted their olive oil with basil and a sweet one with honey. Loved it so much, we went back to buy more!

Palma-this place is really cute. It was a house that the owners converted the front into a restaurant. Great Italian and a bit romantic!

On the tour, this house was between two famous houses with plates stating who lived there and what happened. These home owners were funny and put this up-on this site-nothing happened!
Second favorite!! The cookies here were warm, moist and melted in your mouth!

Hard to get perspective, but the door handle and mail slot are really short. Made this way back in the day because people stood on the second step and wore their heavy metal keys on their belt. Seemed appropriate then??
Cool little row housing set off from the street by a garden, guess this used to be the worst place to live because you didn't get the social invites from those walking through. Now these go for multiple millions!
